Malin Akerman was born on the 12th of May 1978. She is a model actress and singer. She was born in Stockholm in Sweden. Her mother was a model too and her father was an insurance broker. After her parents were divorced, she stayed in Canada with her mother. When she was just 17 years old, she won the Ford Supermodel of Canada search and thus came in the limelight. Since then, she has appeared in several television commercials and walked the ramp with lot of success. After that, she shifted her focus towards acting, in Hollywood.
She has worked in films like The Utopian Society in 2003, with Sam Doumit and Austin Nichols. She has also acted in ‘Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle’ in 2004, as the hot wife of Freak show. She also worked as a correspondent for the show, The Showbiz Show with David Spade. Akerman was part of the third season of HBO’s Entourage series, as Tori.
Akerman has worked in movies like ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ in 2007 and also ‘27 Dresses’, a film that was released in 2008. She has also signed up for a movie named ‘Couples Retreat’, which is essentially a comedy. She has married Roberto Zincone on June 20th, 2007, who is a well-known Italian musician.
